Summer Series 2020-2021
The race series will begin with two pre-season registration and orientation evenings on Wednesday 4th and 11th November. First race will commence Wednesday 18th November. There are going to be some different race routes this year, so its paramount that briefings are attended and listened to.
This year we are running a 13-Race series. Points will be calculated from your best 10 out of 13 with points per place. Keep an eye out on our website and FB pages for the confirmed dates of the race formats.
Note: This season the Summer Series Committee have decided to align our race categories as close as we can to the standard NZ race event categories and therefore you will notice a difference from previous years. If there is no specific category listed for your age group we recommend you enter the 'open' category (2 laps) or the 'social' category (1 lap). Please note the 'open' category will be for our competitive riders.

Important Info about timing
As in previous seasons this year we are employing a full electronic timing system. To ensure consistent and reliable timing each competitor will have an individual timing tag/transponder that will be securely attached to your left fork leg with cable ties. All riders MUST have a tag to be eligible for race timing.
Each competitor will need to purchase a tag, which will be yours to keep at a one-off cost of $25.00 - These tags will be used for many future HMTB events and races. Lost or damaged tags will need to be replaced at cost of $25.00. No tag, No time
Assistance with payment maybe available for those that would like to spread the cost over a couple of weeks (subject to agreement with the Summer Series Race Committee).
