2018-2019 Avantiplus Cycology Summer Series !!

Summer Series is nearly here !!

Once again it’s a a huge thanks to our series sponsors, Avantiplus Cycology, and Alitech Window Systems and Doors as well as support from Simple Race Timing, Placemakers Clarence Street, Subway Te Rapa, and the Cock & Bull.

The race series will begin with two pre-season registration and orientation evenings on Wednesday 24th and 31st October. First race will commence Wednesday November 7th. There maybe some significant track changes that affect most race classes, so it’s fairly important for you to get along to at least one pre-race.

As with previous years, we are running a 14-Race series, with 7 each side of Xmas. Points will be calculated from your best 10 out of 14 with points per place.   More details of the upcoming race series, including changes to our race categories can be found here:

    • Hi Tim, we do not allow e-bikes to enter into our summer series racing. We recognise the use of e-bikes are on the rise and if someone is keen to propose a potential e-bike race solution for the club we recommend this is thought through and presented at the next AGM which is held in August.
